Got a we bit adventurous and tried an attempt at Kaiser rolls. They are no that bad to make. Really, they are not. Its the basic boule recipe that i posted earlier, but with a slight twist of hand.
There are just egg whites added to this as part of the liquid. Put three egg whites into the bottom of the measuring cup before you measure out your three cups of water(or if you halfed the recipe,1.5 cups of water)– so it’s three cups(1.5) of liquid, including the three egg whites. I let them rise the same as the other method as well. Let rise, shape and then bake with steam. Any way you can get steam that is. haha
